Suchita Bhandari
Founder & Director, Urvara Krsi
With a Ph.D. in Agriculture Science and a post-doctorate from Cambridge University, England, Suchita has more than 30 years’ experience across multiple agroforestry projects, both Indian and international, with a proven track record. She has co-authored the book Agroforestry With Commercial Clonal Plantations in India, published by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI).
A. Sivarajan
Head, Research & Development and Production
With a Ph.D. in Agriculture Science and over 14 years of experience in establishing clonal nursery infrastructure and clonal sapling production, Sivarajan leads the nursery operations as well as the R&D operations of Urvara Krsi. He operates & manages three modern clonal nurseries: two in Maharashtra and one in Odisha with a combined annual production capacity of 20 million plants.
He also leads the cultivation & procurement operations for Dried Red Chillies (EU/EPA specifications) and agroforestry extension operations in Maharashtra, and supervises the various agricultural consultancy projects of Urvara Krsi.

Vikas Rana
Head, Agri-Business Division, Madhya Pradesh
An Agriculture Science graduate and MBA in Rural Management, Vikas has 12 years of experience in nursery operations and contract farming. He has been associated with clonal tree sapling production since 2013. In addition to plant production, he is also involved in agri-business extension activities in Madhya Pradesh, and steers a consultancy project on the rejuvenation of Mango orchards in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.
Sudhanshu Bushan Sahoo
Head, Agroforestry Division
An Agriculture Science graduate and MBA with 24 years of experience in the plantation sector specialising in soil & water conservation and community mobilisation, Sudhanshu leads Urvara Krsi’s agroforestry activities in the states of Chhattisgarh and Odisha, and the cultivation & procurement operations for Dried Finger Turmeric (EU/EPA specifications) in Odisha.
